A Very BEISTLE Halloween

Halloween time at Beistle is something all of the employees look forward to.  The company gets decorated with all of our wonderful Halloween themed decor, we host a Halloween party for employee’s children, we get to dress up, attend a luncheon & have a costume contest.  You can enter the contest as a group or individually.  Last year, the Sales team & the Art Department battled for first place with the Art Department winning by just a few votes.  I wonder who might win this year?  (Stay tuned to find out!)

When I ask employees during #BeistleStars interviews for their favorite memories while working here at Beistle, multiple people have answered with “the Halloween luncheons!

Our HR Department, along with our Supreme Multi-tasker, Daphne, does a stellar job decorating our office.  Talk about creativity!  The photos below are from last year’s Halloween luncheon.  This years’ will take place on October 31st.

The images above are our rectangular, wall panels that hang in the cafeteria.  Daphne used rectangular tablecovers to cover the boards & made faces using additional decor.  From tassel garlands, to googly eyes, I love how she was able to make each one so different.  My personal favorite is the second one, with the blue background & silly looking teeth.  I call him Mr. Goofy Monster.  (I made up names for all of them, but i’ll spare you from the corniness of those names).

Daphne made custom centerpieces from an array of different decor.  Each one turned out so different & unique from the next.  A few items that she used to create these masterpieces are Halloween masks, glittered spiders, Halloween headbands, peel n’ place, plastic toppers, feathers and hair clips.

Each year, the stage gets decorated so that we can utilize it for both the costume contest and to take a group photo at the end of the luncheon.  Daphne got super innovative and created this giant spider at the edge of the stage.  He was soooooooo neat!  To create him, she used a jumbo paper lantern, metallic garlands, arcade garlands, googly eyes, crepe streamers & a Halloween hat.

Large Spider

The next few photos are of the atrium, in preparation for the kids’ party that took place.  Each child got to “pick” a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to decorate, participate in a costume contest, eat yummy snacks & receive a gift to take home.  It’s always a great event for the family.

Last, is a photo from last year’s (2017) infamous Beistle Halloween luncheon.  Take notice to the group of circus folk (the Sales team), the Star Wars characters (the Art Department) and the rest of the unique individual costumes.
