How To: Glittered & Painted Tulle Balls

Tulle Balls are quite versatile and can be used for a multitude of different events.  From elegant wedding ceremonies & baby showers to playful birthday parties, you can enhance your decor by adding a few of these beauties.  We offer an assortment of color choices to go along with your theme.  Don’t see the color you are looking for?  You can use white tulle balls and customize them with ANY color to get that perfect match.  Here’s how…First, we’ll start with the Glittered Tulle Balls:

You Will Need:

Instructions:

  • Lay your trash bag flat on the floor  (If you’re wondering why we are using a trash bag, it’s because you want a fairly large work area and a paper plate is too small.  I learned the hard way).
  • Squeeze a puddle of glue on to one area of the bag.
  • Sprinkle a layer of glitter on to another area of the bag.
  • “Fluff” your Tulle Balls.
  • Start lightly rolling your first Tulle Ball in to the glue.  Only do a small section at a time.  It looks better to only dip the tips, so don’t push too hard.
  • Next, roll that same section of glue in to the glitter.
  • Repeat those steps until your entire Tulle Ball is sparkly.
  • (See Image Below)  That’s it! Voilà! It’s that easy!  These things turn out gorgeous!

I chose Pink & Gold as my color scheme to use and then used our Gold Glittered Dot Stringers to accent them.  Be sure to check back next week to see how to throw a Pink & Gold birthday party featuring these beauties!
